On Mother’s Day, I was invited to brunch with my boyfriend and his parents since my mom has a busy schedule and we don’t celebrate holidays like these. So we headed to Bourbon & Beef in Rockridge. Being that this took place about 3 months ago, I can’t remember what we all had… I just recall it being all so good. I’ll be better about this in the future, I promise. I’ll even include photos next time 😅
So because it was Mother’s Day, I knew I wanted to work my outfit around my thrifted Levi’s — or mom jeans. Since mom jeans are typically high-waisted and baggier, I wanted to pair it with a tighter crop top — a white one to keep it classic. Keeping the look more neutral, I added my tan sling-back mules from Australia and a brown coat I thrifted. I topped the look off with a hat (heh, get It?) to bring it all together.
